Description

The ground floor of the house, and the courtyard, is wheelchair accessible. There are no steps. There are two bedrooms (one with two single beds and one with a double bed), a large family kitchen/diner and a large living room. Both the big rooms have wood stoves and all rooms have electric radiators (not that you are likely to need them in summer). There is also a toilet with grab rails and a flat floor roll-in shower with folding seat. Upstairs there is a large double bedroom, a huge further bedroom/ games room and another toilet and shower room. The large private courtyard is entered through an old double gate and there is a ramp to a patio with French windows into the kitchen. The view from the patio overlooks classical large barns and woodland. Through the barns is an orchard which in summer gives black and morello cherries, apples, redcurrants and a few raspberries. The house is well equipped with an electric cooker and hob, coffee maker, washing machine, telephone, iron, hairdryer, and plenty of utensils, crockery etc.

There is a modern wheelchair accessible indoor swimming pool with dedicated changing room (toilet, shower, hairdryer), pool hoist, and water massage system 15 minutes drive away.
