qualified practitioners can help with lymphatic drainage of swollen

has a fabulous falconry displays with Condor, Lammergeyer, Eagles
etc. every day except Mondays. Especially children will find it
fun to land and hold the large birds of prey.
The wheelchair journey is only possible with helpful friends and
by asking at the castle gate for description or guidance to the
back way to the viewing meadow. It is definitely worth the effort.

Canoeing the local rivers |

The wheelchair journey is possible with helpful friends and by asking the canoe operator to transport the wheelchair while you float down the river. There are always willing helpers to load you in the canoe usually better outside water and pulling/pushing the canoe into river with you in it.
The local rivers are used by canoe hiring firms one example Otava
tours tel 376 522 008 can be found on the main road at
the beginning of Sušice, opposite a car park and is marked
by a canoe on the right hand side of the road. 2 hour trip on the
river Otava will take you from Sušice to Rabi. Look out for
kingfishers often frequenting this stretch of river.

Old town has the largest square in Europe . Budvar /the original
budweiser/ can be sampled in many restaurants. There are lots of
restaurants to choose from around this large square. The town hall
on one side of the square has the disabled toilet and is opened
with a key asked for in the reception.

The restaurant of Masné Krámy has a great atmosphere
and good Czech food. Down the road from here konditorei /Cukrárna
U Sluníčka/ has been recommended by locals. Another
very good cukrárna/konditorei can befound next to the hotel
Malý Pivovar and for easy access use the hotel lift
to the 1st floor.

In Třeboň we recommend hotel Zlatá Hvězda
tel: 333 757 111 with a bathroom suitable for disabled travellers
and with a small lift to your floor. The present manager and having
recovered from his injury and subsequently worked in a spa arranged
for a special room for disabled visitors (bezbarierovy pokoj = a
room without barriers). This is the highest category of accommodation
suitable for wheelchairs. The hotel is situated right in the centre
of old Treboň and you will be surrounded by lovely picturesque
facades

This area of fish´ponds also has five national nature reserves
and many with slightly lower status of nature reserves. For the
bird watchers a good contact is Pan Ševčík of
CHKO, tel. 333 721 448 or 333 721 400 who can recommend
interesting sights and has English leaflets. His recommendation
included village Kolence and pond Okřínek (water birds)
and pond Kocířov near Lomnice n. Lužnicí
and Velký Malý Tisý ponds for black storks

This is just a personal experience of some wheelchair friendly places
Restaurant U Orloje, Staromestke namesti, 25, Praha 1 has
a wonderful view of the Old town clock and the crowds gathering
every hour to watch the apostles to move round. 
It has a lift to the first floor from where you can see the specticle
and have a refreshment. No disabled toilet.
Wenceslav square can be viewed from Duplex on the 6th floor which
has lovely views and a disabled toilet (picture)
For disabled luxury the hotel Hilton (Atrium) has good access and
many disabled bathrooms: tel: 224 841 111. Many new hotels
all have some disabled facilities. We have stayed in hotel Atlantic
Na Poříčí 9 Praha 1 tel 224 811 084
although a bit dated it has the original disabled room built during
communism and is very central. It is at an easy distance from Municipal
house.
